Can I receive email alerts and notifications via SMS?
Yes, it can be done. First of all, you must be a customer of Reliance.
All I can say, it’s a really a good trick for RIM customers.
Now you can get all your incoming email alerts and notifications via SMS for free.
However, it has a limitation because you can only receive the subject of the email and the sender ID.
How to receive email via SMS?
If you’re using Gmail or Yahoo! Mail, figure out yourself on how to do forwarding.
What you have to do is to forward a copy of your incoming mails to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please take note that xxxxxxxxxx is a 10-digit Reliance phone number
